DESCRIPTION:Breaking Traditions\n\nTuesday\, March 22\, 2022\n\n9:00 am - 1:00 pm\n\nPipestone Campus\n\nPlumbing & Heating Technology\, Carpentry\, Cosmetology\, Nursing\, Medical Coding Specialist\, Health Information Technology\n\n \nBreaking Traditions is an annual event sponsored by Minnesota West Community and Technical College and the Southwest Minnesota Private Industry Council. The event is designed to encourage high school students to consider a variety of career paths.\n\n\n\nBreaking Traditions is in its 28th year\, and each year expands to give participants more opportunities to explore careers through hands-on exploration as well as tours of program areas offered at Minnesota West Campuses. \n\n\n\nEach campus offers unique programs and features different activities. High schools are encouraged to choose a campus to tour that reflects the interest of the majority of students.\n\n\n\nThere is no cost to the students or schools that attend.
