DESCRIPTION:Civil War Soldier   A Living History\n\nWondering what life was like for a Civil War soldier? Come find out! Civil War re-enactor Bill Hoskins\, of the Siouxland Heritage Museum\, will visit Pipestone on August 1st at 10:00 a.m. to describe the equipment\, clothing\, and life of a Civil War soldier.  He will talk about the service of a soldier in the Union Army during the Civil War and/or his service with the Army on the Dakota Frontier in the mid-1860s. Due to COVID-19 this event will be held at the picnic shelter at Moore Park located on North Hiawatha Avenue.  There will be limited seating\, please bring a chair or blanket and plan to social distance.  Bring a mask! Cost of this event is $3.00 per adult\; children 12 and under are free.\n\n\n\nThe Museum is located at 113 S. Hiawatha Ave. in Pipestone.
