DESCRIPTION:Kite Workshop for Youth\n\n\n\nThe Pipestone County Historical Society and Meinders Community Library are partnering to bring a fun program for local youth.  Join us on Saturday\, April 9th at Meinders Community Library where Children's Librarian\, Emily Blaeser and Museum Educator\, Trava Olivier will share a story and brief history on kites.  Youth will then construct a paper kite that flies.  Before leaving\, participants will have the opportunity to fly their creation.  The workshop begins at 10:30 and is FREE to attend.  This workshop is recommended for children 3 (with adult helper) and older.
