Call the library to reserve a spot (507-825-6714).\n\nWHERE: Meinders Community Library\n\n\n\nJoin us at Meinders Community Library on Monday\, July 22nd for a day of history\, mystery and theater with Live History's interactive performances and youth workshops.\n\n\n\nAt 10:30am we will have a youth workshop on Creating a Mystery and at 12:00pm we will have a youth workshop on Theater & Storytelling. Both of these workshops are free\, open to ages 8 and up\, and will last about an hour.\n\n\n\nLive History will also have two interactive performances of A Timeless Gathering for all ages at 3:00pm and 5:00pm. A Timeless Gathering is part escape room and part live theater and participants will work together to try and discover the identity of our mysterious guest. For more information or to sign up in advance\, call the library at 507-825-6714.\n\n \n\n"Timeless Gathering":\n\nIt was supposed to be a relaxing evening\; a sit down meal\, followed by good conversation and a speaker but things are not as they seem. Joining you at the table is a strange figure\, dressed in period clothes and seeming confused. The mysterious character\, identifying only as Circa\, is horrified to discover they are in the modern era\, and many things they remember and love are now behind glass\; on shelves\; written about in history books. They have no recollection of who they are\, or how they got there. Some sort of historical time warp has occurred and you cannot leave unless you help . The security guard of the venue is in a complete panic the doors have locked before\, and the only way to get out is to solve the mystery.\n\n\n\nOnly pictures\, items and stories from a time long ago seem to trigger memories about their identity. Stay with Circa for anecdotes from their life as they come flooding back\, and piece together clues and riddles to figure out their identity...before the doors stay locked forever.\n\n \n\nAbout Live History:\n\nFor the past 10 years\, the company has toured 10 countries and over 200 venues\, bringing local history to life with their unique customized productions.
