DESCRIPTION:NEW DATE!  Santa Claus is coming to Pipestone on SATURDAY\, December 5\, beginning at __:__ _m at the Hiawatha Lodge at Hiawatha Pageant Park. \n\n\n\nDue to COVID-19\, we will not be holding our annual event at the Ewert Rec Center. We have consulted with SW Health & Human Services for advice to make this community tradition safer for everyone. A large crowd indoors for an extended period of time and long lines of people standing together waiting to see Santa and participate in make-and-take activities won't work this year. Instead\, we are meeting Santa outside the Lodge at Hiawatha Pageant Park.\n\n\n\nThe final plan for this Drive-Thru event is awaiting approval:\n\n \n\nFamilies will be waiting in line inside of their cars on the gravel road back towards 4th St NW. Traffic guards will be assisting. Bring your letter to Santa with you!\n\n \n\n	CDC & MN Dept of Health guidelines will be promoted.\n	Only one family per vehicle.\n	Volunteers will be screened with COVID-19 symptom questions from MDH and have their temperature taken. Any volunteer with symptoms or a temperature of 100.4 will be sent home.\n	Participants will be screened with COVID-19 symptom questions from MDH.\n	Masks are required indoors excluding health\, age\, or other exemptions.\n	There will be signage advising of the guidelines and directing participants as well.
