DESCRIPTION:February "Coffee Talk" to feature John Draper sharing a History of the Pipestone County Star\n\n\n\nThe February presentation will be held Thursday\, February 17th. John Draper\, publisher of the Pipestone County Star\, will speak on the history of the newspaper industry in Pipestone sharing the story of the Pipestone County Star which was begun in 1879 and continues today.  During its 140+ years of existence\, there have only been 3 owners.  Join us for John's presentation and learn more details about this history.\n\n\n\nThe Pipestone County Historical Society's Coffee Talks are held the third Thursday of each month. These talks are FREE to the public. The community is invited to the Pipestone County Museum at 9:45 a.m. on the third Thursday of each month for coffee followed by a presentation beginning at 10:00 a.m.\n\n\n\nThe Pipestone County Museum is located at 113 S. Hiawatha Avenue in Pipestone\, MN.  If you have further questions\, you may call the Museum at (507) 825-2563 or email them at pipctymu@iw.net.
