DESCRIPTION:OCTOBER COFFEE TALK TO FEATURE THE STORY OF THE PIPESTONE BLACK SOX BASEBALL TEAM\n\n\n\nYou are invited to join the Pipestone County Historical Society for its Monthly Coffee Talk\, when Trava Olivier\, Museum Educator for the Pipestone County History Society will be sharing the story of the Pipestone Black Sox baseball team. This African American team was based out of Pipestone from May to August 1926. Guests will hear how the team came to Pipestone and about their winning season. Coffee Talks are FREE for all members of the public to attend.  If you are unable to attend in person\, the presentation will be recorded and shared on the Museum's YouTube channel.  The link to the video will be on the Pipestone County Museum's website as soon as it is available.\n\n\n\nCoffee Talks are held the third Thursday of each month.  Complimentary coffee and treats are served beginning at 9:45 a.m.  Presentations begin at 10:00.  The Pipestone County Museum is located at 113 S. Hiawatha Avenue in Pipestone\, MN.
