SUMMARY:POSTPONED: Spring Star Party
DESCRIPTION:***DUE TO WEATHER\, THIS EVENT IS POSTPONED TO MAY 7th***\n\n\n\nThe semiannual night sky viewing party has returned to Pipestone National Monument. Visit the park on Saturday\, April 30\, from 8:30 p.m. 9:30 p.m. for an evening of stargazing and learning. \n\n\n\nDr. Nathan Grau (Augustana University) and Dr. Judy Vondruska (South Dakota State University) will set up telescopes in front of the Visitor Center to show visitors the night sky up close and answer astronomical questions. Free hot cocoa\, cider\, and star snacks will be available while supplies last. Visitors are not required to stay for the duration of the event. In the event of inclement weather or cloudy skies\, the event will be postponed to Saturday\, May 7th. \n\n\n\nNighttime views and environments are among the critical park features the National Park Service protects.
