DESCRIPTION:The Pipestone Kiwanis Club and Pipestone County Food Shelf will be distributing gifts of toys for children ages 12 and under and food for families or individuals in need of financial assistance during the holidays!\n\n\n\nONLINE REGISTRATION is OPEN now through December 3rd for the Annual Pipestone County Christmas Care Program which helps those in financial need in our county by providing toys to children 12 and under as well as holiday meal totes to individuals\, couples\, or families during the holiday season.\n\n\n\nThere have been changes to the program guidelines\, the process of registration (online only again this year)\, and the distribution event itself to keep residents safe and increase efficiency. Please read all the information carefully as you complete each screen. There will be scheduled times & dates again this year\, BUT you will probably still have to wait for a period of time depending upon how quickly others ahead of you are served.\n\n\n\nIMPORTANT: You will NOT receive a reminder so make sure you write down your appointment date and time (or save it on your phone) before submitting your online form.\n\n\n\nThank you and if you have any questions\, please feel free to private message our Pipestone Kiwanis Club Facebook page. To qualify:\n\n All recipients MUST be a Pipestone County Resident in financial need.\n\n Toys are for children 12 and under.\n\n Parent or legal guardian MUST be present to pick up on distribution day - no substitutes.\n\n Holiday Meal Tote - limit one per household.\n\n\n\nAgain this year\, recipients will be assigned a specific time on the distribution date. The distribution date will be Saturday\, December 11\, 2021 from 8AM-2PM at the Blue Building at the Pipestone County Fair Grounds. In case of inclement weather\, the make-up date will be December 12\, 2021.\n\n\n\n\n\nDonations of Cash & Toys can be made at the Pipestone Area Chamber of Commerce. Donations can also be made payable to Pipestone Kiwanis Club and mailed to P.O. Box 72\, Pipestone\, MN 56164.
