DESCRIPTION:FINAL CEMETERY WALKING TOUR OF SEASON \n\n \n\nThe Pipestone County Historical Society will be hosting its final cemetery walking tour of the 2024 season at St. Leo's Catholic Cemetery on Saturday\, September 14th at 2:00 p.m. St. Leo's Cemetery is located on the northwest edge of Pipestone at 656 116th street. From Dar's Pizza follow 8th Avenue north through Pipestone and around the curve to 121st street. Take 121st street north to 116th street.  Turn west on 116th street to the cemetery.  This tour will focus on the meaning behind the symbols carved and etched in the gravestones. The cost of the tour is $5.00 for adults\, $3.00 for members of the Historical Society\, and free for children 12 and under. Tickets may be purchased in advance at the Pipestone County Museum or at the Cemetery gate the day of the event\n\n\n\nThe Pipestone County Museum is located at 113 S. Hiawatha Avenue in Pipestone\, MN.  If you have further questions\, you may call the Museum at (507) 825-2563 or email them at museum@pipestonecountymuseum.com.
