Historic Pipestone Inc. (HPI) holds their monthly used book sale fundraiser on the first Saturday of each month from 9:00 am - approximately Noon. The sale features books in both hardcover and paperback, ranging over a variety of subjects in both fiction and nonfiction. All such books are donated by members of the community.

The ride will begin at 11:00 a.m. (meet at 10:00 am at Leon H. Moore Park, located at 602 N Hiawatha in Pipestone). Riders will follow the scenic Indian Lake Trail and continue on to Woodstock, before looping back to Pipestone?a route totaling approximately 25 miles round trip. This community event is open to riders of all ages and skill levels. Water stops will be available along the route, and those who register and sign a waiver will receive promotional items and have the chance to win prizes.

Annual Avenues of Flags Notice: Flags will be set at the following locations: Downtown Courthouse Cemetery Highway 30 VOLUNTEERS NEEDED: 10-16 People will be needed for setup & tear down. Those interested should meet at the Pipestone Fire Dept parking lot at 7:00 am on Memorial Day, May 26th. Tear down begins at the Pipestone Fire Dept parking lot by 5:00 pm (they usually get started a little earlier). The Avenue of Flags is supported by the Pipestone American Legion Post 6 and made possible through volunteers and donations.
**In case of inclement weather, the program will be held inside the Pipestone American Legion Hall.
