Read with a Ranger is back this summer! Join Ranger Gabby at Meinders Community Library at 11:00 am on select Thursdays this summer as she reads children's stories that teach Dakota and Lakota language and values. Each story will end with a hands-on activity for kids. These programs are free and open to the public.

The Pipestone Area Band Parents Association invites the public to a Burger Feed Fundraiser on Friday, August 27th at Paulsen Field. Serving will begin at 5:30 p.m. and continue until 6:45 p.m. The meal will consist of a grilled hamburger, chips, Cole slaw and beverage for $8.00. All proceeds from this fundraiser go to the Pipestone Area Band Parents Association to support youth band activities. At 7:00 p.m. the Marching Arrows, under the direction of Alex Kisecker, will take the field to preview their 2021 Field Show Under Construction. This will be the first public performance of the show and the first opportunity for the band to debut their new uniforms.
