Kids Fishing Derby & Community Dinner
The entire community is invited to the 8th Annual Kids Fishing Derby & Community Meal on Wednesday, August 13th at beautiful Hiawatha Pageant Park (rain date: Thurs, 8/14 - same times). All ages are welcome to the Community Burger/Hot Dog Feed (while they last!) and Water Slides. Kids ages 15 and under can dip their lines in the ol' quarry pond while competing for trophies and prizes given for first fish caught and more. Fishers are welcome to use their own worms, but we will be providing worms.
LAST DAY: Advance State Fair Tickets Available at Chamber
The Minnesota State Fair will be held August 21 through September 1. Pre-Sale dates are July 13 - August 20, 2025. The Pipestone Area Chamber of Commerce accepts cash or local check for the following: Advance Gate Admission Tickets: $17 each Advance Midway & Kidway Ride & Game Fun Cards: $40 per card for 50 digital tickets Blue Ribbon Bargain Coupon Books: $5 The Pipestone Chamber is generally open Monday, and Wednesday - Friday from 10:00 am - 5:00 pm unless we are out of the office attending meetings or preparing for events. Please call ahead (507-825-3316) if you are driving from out of town.
