Our farmers market is a proud member of the Pipestone Area Chamber of Commerce and a program of Pipestone Active Living. POSTPONED: Author Suzanne Fuller
On October 17th at 10:00 a.m. the Pipestone County Historical Society and Meinders Community Library are partnering to bring regional author Suzanne Fuller to talk about her new book The Girl Who Moved to the Town that Wasn?t There. It is a work of fiction; though based on Suzanne?s ancestors who moved to Egan, SD before Egan existed. It is a chapter book for 4th-8th graders or anyone who loves ?Little House on the Prairie? style of books/writings. Books will be available for purchase at the event. It is FREE to attend and will be held at the Performing Arts Center so social distancing can be observed. Masks required.
Crimes of the Past: Uncovered
The Pipestone County Historical Society invites you to join them Saturday, October 17th at 10:00 as they present Crimes of the Past: Uncovered. This presentation will reveal the details of several crimes committed in Pipestone County during its first 100 years. From bank robbery to murder and more, the cases presented will divulge a darker side of Pipestone County?s history. Due to social distancing guidelines, this presentation will take place on the second floor of the Pipestone County Museum and is only accessible by stairs. Cost of this event is $3.00 per adult, children 12 and under are FREE. The Museum is located at 113 S. Hiawatha Ave. in Pipestone.
