Read with a Ranger is back this summer! Join Ranger Gabby at Meinders Community Library at 11:00 am on select Thursdays this summer as she reads children's stories that teach Dakota and Lakota language and values. Each story will end with a hands-on activity for kids. These programs are free and open to the public.
School Yard Games By popular demand, the schoolyard games at the District #3 Schoolhouse at Moore Park will continue each Thursday in July and August from 12:30-1:00 p.m. with the exception of July 8th and July 29th. No Museum staff or adult supervision will be provided in the schoolyard on these 2 dates. School will be in session both of those days beginning at 1:00 p.m. and continuing until 3:00 p.m. led by dedicated schoolhouse volunteer, Diane Hansen.
The District #3 One-Room Schoolhouse at Moore Park will be open to the public on Thursdays through the summer (June 3 through September 2) from 1pm to 3 pm. Stop by and say hello! Volunteers will be present to share information about the oldest country school in the county. PCHS Volunteer Diane Hansen is eager to greet students with activities!
