The event falls on a New Moon, making distant galaxies and globular clusters more visible. You may even see our solar system?s smallest planet ? Mercury! This is a relaxed event - bring a lawn chair or blanket and see your park after dark with the whole family! Kids will have an opportunity to complete the Night Sky Junior Ranger Program and earn an activity-related patch. The event is free and open to the public.
