Pipestone, Minnesota: Pipestone National Monument will soon be recruiting for seasonal Maintenance Workers and Biological Technicians for the summer of 2022. These full-time jobs typically begin in April and run six months through September. Applications are due later this month.

Job announcements will automatically close once the target number of applications is met. Below are the anticipated posting dates for all Pipestone National Monument seasonal positions.

Maintenance Worker, WG04 – Opens December 6, 2021
Major Duties: We’re looking for an entry-level employee who wants to work hard, learn new skills, and be part of a team. Duties include routine maintenance of buildings, roads and trails, landscaping, grounds care, and daily janitorial work. Starting wage approximately $15.66 per hour.

Maintenance Worker, WG05 – Opens December 6, 2021
Major Duties: Duties include routine maintenance and minor repairs of buildings, roads and trails, landscaping, grounds care, and janitorial work. Some experience preferred. Starting wage approximately $16.85 per hour.

Biological Science Technicians, GS05 – Opens December 20, 2021
Major Duties: Assist with tallgrass prairie restoration. Most of the work will be in the field and will include exposure to outdoor conditions. Bachelor’s degree or experience required. Starting wage approximately $16.95 per hour.
