Must be dedicated to helping people find freedom from substance use disorder. Must be willing to work as part of a treatment team. Must be compassionate, creative and able to establish healthy boundaries. Will complete all required paperwork and documentation in a timely manner. Will lead 12-step and open groups and present lectures, as well as provide one-on-one counseling. Must be familiar with various evidence-based treatment modes, such as DBT and CBT. Must be licensed as an addiction counselor in the state of Minnesota. Low client/counselor ratio. Will consider interns.
