HPI Used Book Sale
Historic Pipestone Inc. (HPI) holds their monthly used book sale fundraiser on the first Saturday of each month from 9:00 am - Noon. The sale features books in both hardcover and paperback, ranging over a variety of subjects in both fiction and nonfiction. All such books are donated by members of the community.
SANTA COMES TO PIPESTONE!
Join us for this FUN, FREE event for the whole family. Santa is arriving by Airplane at Pipestone Municipal Airport on Saturday, December 2, 2023 at 10:00 am! Visit with Santa inside the airport terminal, and take a photo with him too! Don?t forget to bring your letters! 4-H Ambassador Elves will also have several free, fun, Holiday Make-and-Take activities for kids in the heated airplane hangar next door.

Museum's Monthly "Coffee Talk"
Rescheduled from November, the public is invited to join the Pipestone County Historical Society for its December Coffee Talk on Thursday, December 21st, when Noah Burris, Collections and Exhibits Manager for the Pipestone County Historical Society shares toys from the Museum's collection. This presentation will share the history of some toys from times past and spark fun memories for the guests who played with similar toys in their childhood. Coffee Talks are FREE for all members of the public to attend. If you are unable to attend in person, the presentation will be recorded and shared on the Museum's YouTube channel. The link to the video will be on the Pipestone County Museum's website as soon as it is available.

Calumet Players Children's Theater AUDITIONS
Auditions for the 2024 Children?s Theater plays will be Thursday, January 4 beginning at 4:45 and ending at 7:00 pm at the Pipestone Performing Arts Center. Children in grades 1-8 are encouraged to audition for the shows. Participation fee is $30 with a family cap of $60. Scholarships are available. Children should be sure to attend auditions with a parent or guardian. This year?s shows are ?Holmes on the Range? by Craig Sodaro (Grades1-4) and ?Young Sherlock? by Craig Sodaro (Grades 5-8). Performances will be March 22, 23, and 24, 2024 at the Pipestone Performing Arts Center.
