Historic Pipestone Inc. (HPI) holds their monthly used book sale fundraiser on the first Saturday of each month from 9:00 am - approximately Noon. The sale features books in both hardcover and paperback, ranging over a variety of subjects in both fiction and nonfiction. All such books are donated by members of the community.

The SW MN Workforce Cohorts are designed to help employers in Southwest Minnesota to attract and retain a diverse workforce needed now and in the future. Cohort peers will be focused on developing and sharing best practices for employee retention and overall growth of SW MN. Sessions will be led by Whitney Harvey, Sr. Director of Workforce Diversity and Inclusion, Minnesota Chamber of Commerce Foundation and will include additional guest speakers at each session. Pipestone Area Coalition will be bringing cannabis researcher, Ken Winters, to Pipestone to give a presentation to our community's adults (18+) about the new cannabis laws. The event is free and will be held at the Hiawatha Lodge on Monday, March 3, starting at 6:30 pm. Certificates of Attendance will be provided for educators and law enforcement.

The Pipestone Ambulance Association will be holding our 35th annual Chili Feed Fundraiser on Saturday, March 8th, 2025. The 2025 Chili Feed will be held in DRIVE-THRU form at the Pipestone County Emergency Services Building located at 811 5th St SE in Pipestone, MN. Please look for signs & line up facing South on 9th Ave SE. The drive-thru supper ($12 Donation per meal) will be held from 4:00 PM - 7:00 PM. Our menu will feature our great award-winning chili (mild or hot), amazing chicken noodle soup, grilled ham & cheese sandwiches, & dessert. Quarts of Chili & Soup will also be available to purchase for $8 each (preorders appreciated).

The Pipestone Area Band Parents? Association will hold its 42nd Annual Pork Dinner on Sunday, March 30th. The event will be held at St. Leo?s Catholic Church. Serving will be from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. The menu includes a pork sandwich, baked beans, coleslaw, chips, a beverage, and dessert. The cost of a ticket is $12.00 for students and adults; children 10 and under $6.00. Take-out meals will be available. All tickets will be purchased at the door, there are no advanced sales. Proceeds from this event will be used in a variety of ways, such as providing meals to the students during summer band camp, purchasing tickets for students to attend a Drum Corp International (DCI) performance, and providing scholarships to graduating seniors from the Pipestone Marching Band Program.
