Little Women is a play adapted from Louisa May Alcott's classic novel. The story follows the four March sisters?Meg, Jo, Beth, and Amy?as they grow up during the American Civil War, dealing with themes of family, hope, and pursuing one's dreams. ''Little Women'' will take the Pipestone Performing Arts Center stage on February 6-8, 2025 and February 13-15, 2026. Friday and Saturday evening shows start at 7:30 p.m., and the Sunday matinee is at 2:00 p.m.

Ferris Grand Block Fundraiser
On the evening of Saturday, February 21, 2026, the Pipestone County Historical Society will be hosting a fundraiser in the Masonic Lodge, located on the second floor of the historic Ferris Grand Block. This limited seating event will include a four-course steak dinner, dynamic presentations of local history stories, brand new games, a live auction, and a raffle drawing. An update will be given on the Ferris Grand rehabilitation, and all funds raised will aid int eh historic preservation of this majestic building. This year, the theme of the event is ''Murder & Mayhem in Pipestone County,'' and several local stories from history will be shared, not only tales of murder, but also larceny, bigamy, arson, prostitution, and other general mayhem. Tickets are limited to this event due to space restrictions. Call ahead for more information and to make reservations!
Improvanopolis
Improvanoplis presents a comedy show like NO OTHER...literally. (Every show is a one-of-a-kind experience since the script is actually made up on the spot.) This show will feature the best of our long and short-form improv comedy. Similar to ''Whose Line is it Anyway'', this ensemble will keep you interjecting, intrigued, and in stitches for the entire show. Come and be part of something unique, so stop by Pipestone American Legion and have a laugh with us. Improvanopolis is an international group with troupes that have performed around the globe. Improvisors from South Dakota, Los Angeles, Chicago, Singapore, Melbourne, Kuala Lumpur, Perth, Wellington, Orlando, Brisbane, & Auckland.
