We invite ALL Pipestone County businesses and organizations to be an exhibitor at the Inaugural Pipestone Area Career Exploration co-hosted by Pipestone Area Schools, Pipestone Area Chamber of Commerce, and Pipestone Economic Development Authority.
This collaborative event provides basic career exposure about your specific business/organization/industry to our PAS students in grades 9 through 12. The primary goals are to provide a greater understanding of the careers available in our county, the the skills necessary to obtain those careers, and important life skills.
Business and organization participation is an ESSENTIAL component of this event --- giving students a unique opportunity to learn about all of the many varied and rewarding opportunities for their future! And, as an exhibitor, it gives your business/organization the opportunity to connect directly with the students (our future workforce and community members).
The event is FREE, but we do require registration for for planning and layout purposes. Please complete the brief form by Friday, April 24, 2026.
While you are welcome to set up your exhibitor table however you desire, it is NOT necessary to have branded signage, custom brochures, or promo trinkets. What is important is to simply share your knowledge and advice with the students.
Additionally, if you do have opportunities for part-time or Summer student employment, paid or unpaid internships, apprenticeships, job shadowing, or volunteer opportunities, you may also promote those to interested students you meet at the Expo. But to be clear, this isn't a Job Fair so that is not necessary to participate. The main goal is just for businesses and organizations to have direct conversations with our local students about career options in our area.
