Historic Pipestone Inc. (HPI) holds their monthly used book sale fundraiser on the first Saturday of each month from 9:00 am - approximately Noon. The sale features books in both hardcover and paperback, ranging over a variety of subjects in both fiction and nonfiction. All such books are donated by members of the community.

Spring Bike Ride - Friends of Casey Jones State Trail
The ride will begin at 11:00 a.m. (meet at 10:00 am at Leon H. Moore Park, located at 602 N Hiawatha in Pipestone). Riders will follow the scenic Indian Lake Trail and continue on to Woodstock, before looping back to Pipestone?a route totaling approximately 25 miles round trip. This community event is open to riders of all ages and skill levels. Water stops will be available along the route, and those who register and sign a waiver will receive promotional items and have the chance to win prizes.
Pipestone County Ambulance Open House
National Emergency Medical Services (EMS) Week (May 18-245y) is a celebration to honor the 750,000 EMS providers nationwide, and the local volunteers who deliver lifesaving care. Join the Pipestone County Ambulance for its Annual Open House for a free meal! (Brats, Hot Dogs, Beans, Chips, & Pop)! There will be free blood pressure and blood sugar checks. Free coloring books, stickers, and balloons for the kids! Register for door prizes. Come meet your EMT's and view the emergency vehicles!

Memorial Day Avenue of Flags
Annual Avenues of Flags Notice: Flags will be set at the following locations: Downtown Courthouse Cemetery Highway 30 VOLUNTEERS NEEDED: 10-16 People will be needed for setup & tear down. Those interested should meet at the Pipestone Fire Dept parking lot at 7:00 am on Memorial Day, May 26th. Tear down begins at the Pipestone Fire Dept parking lot by 5:00 pm (they usually get started a little earlier). The Avenue of Flags is supported by the Pipestone American Legion Post 6 and made possible through volunteers and donations.

Pizza, Puzzle, & Pop Party
Please come join the Pipestone Area Coalition for some pizza, puzzle and pop! Gather your team and join us for a fun-filled event. Race against the clock to complete a puzzle while enjoying delicious pizza and pop! Teams will compete to have the fastest time, and the winning team will receive a pool pass for four! RSVPs appreciated, but not required.
Chamber Car Cruise-In
Join the Pipestone Area Chamber of Commerce and the Pipestone Cruizers for Live Music (''Ewing Maine'') and the first Chamber Car Cruise-In of Summer! Enjoy music and relaxation as you stroll amongst classic cars! Pipestone's Chamber Car Cruise-Ins feature show cars and hobby vehicles from local and regional enthusiasts. The events are FREE for everyone! . Food will be available for purchase at Stonehouse & Quarry Lounge and Pizza Ranch. Prize drawings are held throughout the events for all registered vehicles!
