Event Cancellation:
The author talk scheduled for Saturday; November 14th at the Pipestone Performing Arts Center has been cancelled due to the author being in quarantine.
With the new mandates coming down from Governor Walz’s office and the surge of Covid in Pipestone County it will not be rescheduled at this time.
Persons interested in getting a copy of the book, The Girl Who Moved to the Town that Wasn’t There, may still do so. Books will be available at the Pipestone County Museum beginning Saturday, November 14th and will remain available through Friday, November 20th. You may still place an order by phone for shipping during this same time.
Suzanne Fuller, Author, to present “The Girl Who Moved to the Town That Wasn’t There”:
The Pipestone County Historical Society, in partnership with Meinders Community Library, have teamed up to bring regional author, Suzanne Fuller, to Pipestone. Suzanne will be speaking about her book The Girl Who Moved to the Town That Wasn’t There at the Pipestone Performing Arts Center on Saturday, November 14th at 10:00 a.m. This fictional novel is based on Suzanne’s ancestors who moved to Egan, SD before Egan existed. Fans of Laura Ingalls Wilder books will enjoy this book as well. Books will be available to purchase at the event. The event is FREE to attend. Masks and social distancing are REQUIRED.
