Arts and Mentoring Project (AMP), offered a summer musical theater camp. Participants learned the foundations of musical theatre through acting workshops, fun arts activities, and music & choreography rehearsals all while creating a live theatrical production of Disney’s Frozen Jr.
Performances are August 9, 10 & 11 at the beautiful Hiawatha Pageant Park; gates open at 8:00p and showtime starting at dusk (between 8:30pm & 9pm). Tickets will be available at the gate; adults $10 and $5 students. Parking will be in the grass lot above the Quarry Pond near the ticket booth. Concessions will be available. Restrooms on site. Please, bring a blanket or chair to enjoy the show.
This local production of Disney's Frozen Jr. is Produced by Reggie Gorter, Directed by Jenn Sheldon, and Musically Directed by Samantha Davis. Many other artists, student interns and volunteers are behind the scenes that make this show possible.
AMP's mission is to provide an arts experience dedicated to mentoring and performing. By welcoming all students we commit to guiding their character and artistic passion in a fun, disciplined environment advancing both the individual and the community.
This activity is funded in part with a grant from the Minnesota State Arts Board made possible by the voters of Minnesota, thanks to a legislative appropriation from the arts and cultural heritage fund.
