
April's “Coffee Talk” to feature Maryann DeGroot, recently retired Pipestone County Recorder.
The April presentation will be held Thursday, April 21st. Maryann was first elected to the position of County Recorder in 1994 following 10 years of service as the deputy court administrator. Her presentation will share stories of her 28 years as County Recorder, some interesting stories she uncovered through the years, and the responsibilities of the office and how they have changed technology over the years.

The Pipestone County Historical Society’s Coffee Talks are held the third Thursday of each month. These talks are FREE to the public. The community is invited to the Pipestone County Museum at 9:45 a.m. on the third Thursday of each month for coffee followed by a presentation beginning at 10:00 a.m.
