
March's “Coffee Talk” to feature Trava Olivier sharing the story of Jessie Walkup, 1901 PHS Graduate.
The March presentation will be held Thursday, March 17th. Trava Olivier, Museum Educator for the Pipestone County Historical Society will speak on the life of Jessie Walkup. Jessie was born in Pipestone County in 1882, graduated from Pipestone High School in 1901, and went on to hold several prominent roles in Pipestone County and Minnesota State history before moving to California.

The Pipestone County Historical Society’s Coffee Talks are held the third Thursday of each month. These talks are FREE to the public. The community is invited to the Pipestone County Museum at 9:45 a.m. on the third Thursday of each month for coffee followed by a presentation beginning at 10:00 a.m.
