5K Fun Run/Walk for Parkinson's Awareness
The Rock Steady Boxing 5K Fun Run & Walk is more than a race, it's a chance to fight back against Parkinson's. Join a community moving with purpose, supporting strength, resilience, and hope. Whether you run or walk, every step helps empower individuals to keep pushing forward. Lace up and be part of something meaningful. All proceeds support equipment, education, and access, helping individuals stay strong, keep moving, and continue the fight.
District #3 Schoolhouse Activities
The District #3 Schoolhouse will once again be holding class for the summer of 2026. Museum staff will lead activities from 1-3pm each Thursday beginning June 4 and concluding on August 27, 2026. There WILL NOT be schoolyard games held in the summer of 2026. Children who have recently completed kindergarten and older are invited to attend. For your child?s safety, an Emergency Contact Form will need to be on file for each student who attends. Forms will be available at the Schoolhouse or can be found on the Museum?s website: www.pipestonecountymuseum.com.

Our farmers market is a proud member of the Pipestone Area Chamber of Commerce and a program of Pipestone Active Living. "Written in Stone" Cemetery Tours
The Pipestone County Historical Society will be hosting a series of cemetery walking tours throughout the summer of 2026. Tours will be held on the second Saturday of each month, June through September. All tours will begin at 2:00 p.m. and each tour will include stories of Pipestone County pioneers, Pipestone County veterans, and the meaning behind the symbolism found on some of the gravestones. The cost of each tour is $5.00 for adults, $3.00 for members of the Historical Society, and free for children 12 and under. Tickets may be purchased in advance at the Pipestone County Museum or at the Cemetery on the day of the event.
