21st Annual Chamber Chili Cook-Off & Silent Auction Fundraiser
The Chamber Chili Cook-Off and Silent Auction is a fun community get together! Sample a variety of chilis (traditional and nontraditional) and vote for your favorites. You also get to help us decide which team does the best job decorating too! Businesses and organizations go all out to win either best chili and/or best decor! A tremendously fun event #OnlyinPipestone!
3rd Annual PACF Grant Gala
Pipestone Area Community Foundation, an affiliate of Southwest Initiative Foundation, will be awarding 10 grants, up to $2,500 each, to eligible non-profit organizations.
7th Annual Lights at the Lodge
Experience the beauty of winter at the Hiawatha Pageant Park in Pipestone! The 7th Annual Lights at the Lodge lighting is Saturday, November 21, 2026 at the Hiawatha Pageant Park, official lighting at 6:00 pm. After the official lighting, the lights will be on every night through January 3, 2027. Following the opening night, visitors will be able to drive through the park exiting through the north gate, or can park and walk through the lighted sites throughout the holiday season.
Community Thanksgiving Day Dinner
Volunteers in Mercy will be hosting a free, sit-down Thanksgiving Day meal from 11am to 1pm, or until gone at Pipestone Christian Reformed Church.

Erica Volkir Recognition Open House
Join us in recognizing Erica Volkir for her long-time service to the Pipestone Area Chamber of Commerce. Volkir served as our Executive Director from April 2015 until October 2026. The reception will be held at the Hiawatha Lodge on Monday, November 9, from 4:00 - 6:00 pm. Coffee, punch, and cake will be served. Historic Pipestone Inc. (HPI) holds their monthly used book sale fundraiser on the first Saturday of each month from 9:00 am - approximately Noon. The sale features books in both hardcover and paperback, ranging over a variety of subjects in both fiction and nonfiction. All such books are donated by members of the community.
