Pipestone County Christmas Care Distribution Day
The Pipestone Kiwanis Club and Pipestone County Food Shelf will be distributing gifts of toys for children ages 12 and under and food for families or individuals in need of financial assistance during the holidays! Guidelines: All recipients must be a Pipestone County Resident. Toys are for children 12 and under. Parent or legal guardian must be present to pick up on distribution day - no substitutes. Holiday Meal Tote - limit one per household. This year, recipients will be assigned a specific date and time. Distribution day for 2022 will be Saturday, December 10 from __AM -__PM at the Blue Building at the Pipestone County Fair Grounds.

Lights at the Lodge Drive Through
Experience the beauty of winter at the Hiawatha Pageant Park nightly! Drive through viewing of lighted Christmas trees will be available nightly, November 26th, 2022 through January 1, 2023 after the opening Lighting and Luminaria Walk on November 26th. This event is organized by the City of Pipestone?s Hiawatha Pageant Park Commission and made possible by all of our community members who adopt the trees.
Last Day to Mail Letters to Santa!
Hey Parents & Grandparents! Your kids can ''mail'' their letters to Santa in Santa's red mailbox located at the Santa Shed downtown on the corner of Main Street and Hiawatha Avenue. PLUS, if your letter is in his mailbox by Monday, December 12, 2022, Santa will write your child back! (if their letter has their name and return address - please write legibly:) If you have any questions, call us at the Chamber at 507-825-3316 as we are in close contact with the North Pole for this awesome FREE holiday service!

Museum's "Coffee Talk" with Trava Olivier
December's ?Coffee Talk? features Trava Olivier, Museum Educator for the Pipestone County Historical Society. Trava will share the History of Agriculture in Pipestone County. The presentation will briefly touch on topics such as the Percheron horse farm that was located at Cazenovia and the time when potatoes were grown as a cash crop. It will also offer comparisons on the average number and size of farms and the types of crops and livestock raised throughout the county's history.
