18th Annual Pipestone Area Chamber Golf Classic:
- Thursday, June 6, 2024, 2:00 pm Shotgun Start, held at Pipestone Country Club
- Scramble Format: Team format where players hit from the best shot and combine their strokes for the lowest score.
- 22 Teams of four competed (88 golfers) - largest event to date!
Team Awards:
- 2024 Team Champions (Lowest Score) were Hartquist Funeral & Cremation Services won the tournament with the lowest score of 29. Team Members included: Jeff Hartquist, his sons Henry & Graham, and Kevin Paulsen. Dari King came in 2nd place with a score of 30. Van Dyke Sanitation & Roll-offs was 3rd place with a team score of 31.
- 2024 Team Spirit Champions (Most Fun) were JBS-Pipestone. Team Members included: Kayla Smith, Shane Biever, Jamie Jensen, and Mitch Buss.

- Hole #1 - Women's Longest Drive - Brooke Legler
- Hole #2 - Men's Longest Drive - Luke Tinklenberg
- Hole #3 - Closest to Pin (2nd Shot) - Kevin Paulsen
- Hole #4 - Closest to Pin - Tim Rustad
- Hole #5 - Women's Longest Putt - Shelly Hennager
- Hole #6 - Men's Longest Putt - John Draper
- Hole #7 - Closest to Pin - Jesse DeGroot
- Hole #8 - Closest to Pin (2nd Shot) - Gavin Winter
- Hole #9 - Longest Putt - Scott Heidebrink
- Fashionista Award (Best Dressed Female Golfer) - Megan Newgard
- Dapper Dresser Award (Best Dressed Male Golfer) - Derek Hennager
No one won the $10,000 Hole-In-One contest on Hole #4. However, with winds gusting to 50 mph, we probably could have afforded a Million Dollar insurance policy! It was a tee-rific event of fun networking, friendly competition, and enjoying our beautiful golf course!
