HPI Used Book Sale
Historic Pipestone Inc. (HPI) holds their monthly used book sale fundraiser on the first Saturday of each month from 9:00 am - approximately Noon. The sale features books in both hardcover and paperback, ranging over a variety of subjects in both fiction and nonfiction. All such books are donated by members of the community.
Community Readiness for Cannabis Legalization with Dr. Ken Winters
Pipestone Area Coalition will be bringing cannabis researcher, Ken Winters, to Pipestone to give a presentation to our community's adults (18+) about the new cannabis laws. The event is free and will be held at the Hiawatha Lodge on Monday, March 3, starting at 6:30 pm. Certificates of Attendance will be provided for educators and law enforcement.
Chamber Coffee at Avera@Home
Open to Everyone! Join us for Coffee & Treats and Socialize with fellow community members at our Host Location: Avera@Home (formerly known as Pipestone County Hospice). Jill Johnson and Sherri Post invite everyone to enjoy coffee and treats while learning about what's new at Avera@Home. Additionally, the Chamber will provide information about upcoming events and programs at the Chamber and community. Enjoy a mid-morning break with fellow Chamber and community members!
Pipestone Ambulance Association DRIVE-THRU Annual Chili & Soup Feed
The Pipestone Ambulance Association will be holding our 35th annual Chili Feed Fundraiser on Saturday, March 8th, 2025. The 2025 Chili Feed will be held in DRIVE-THRU form at the Pipestone County Emergency Services Building located at 811 5th St SE in Pipestone, MN. Please look for signs & line up facing South on 9th Ave SE. The drive-thru supper ($12 Donation per meal) will be held from 4:00 PM - 7:00 PM. Our menu will feature our great award-winning chili (mild or hot), amazing chicken noodle soup, grilled ham & cheese sandwiches, & dessert. Quarts of Chili & Soup will also be available to purchase for $8 each (preorders appreciated).

Let's help some kids with Scholarships! The Pipestone Arrows Athletic Booster Club is having a Scholarship Fundraiser Drive and The Stonehouse and Quarry Lounge will be hosting a PINGO Event featuring Local Business Prizes! 10% of sales from this night will be donated to the Scholarship Fund! Pipestone Area Soccer League Sign-Up Deadline
For all boys and girls, 2nd - 6th grade, in the Pipestone Area. Teams will be organized by 2nd-3rd grade and 4th-6th grade. Registration will be $40, with each player receiving a team jersey. Sign-up deadline is March 17, 2025.

The SW MN Workforce Cohorts are designed to help employers in Southwest Minnesota to attract and retain a diverse workforce needed now and in the future. Cohort peers will be focused on developing and sharing best practices for employee retention and overall growth of SW MN. Sessions will be led by Whitney Harvey, Sr. Director of Workforce Diversity and Inclusion, Minnesota Chamber of Commerce Foundation and will include additional guest speakers at each session. Portrait of a Graduate Program
You are invited to a Portrait of a Graduate Program. Parent?s, guardians, business leaders, and all community members of the Pipestone Area Schools are invited to attend a school board sponsored community event on Thursday, March 20, 2025 at 5:30 PM in the Middle/High School Commons. A brief presentation will be followed by a meeting to gather community input and feedback on important questions. What skills are most important for our future graduates? How can our communities help prepare students for a life after graduation? What can we do to ensure our students have the ability to be successful in realizing their full potential? Conducted in collaboration with Knowledge Works and through a grant with the Minnesota Department of Education.

Pipestone Area Band Parents' Association Dinner
The Pipestone Area Band Parents? Association will hold its 42nd Annual Pork Dinner on Sunday, March 30th. The event will be held at St. Leo?s Catholic Church. Serving will be from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. The menu includes a pork sandwich, baked beans, coleslaw, chips, a beverage, and dessert. The cost of a ticket is $12.00 for students and adults; children 10 and under $6.00. Take-out meals will be available. All tickets will be purchased at the door, there are no advanced sales. Proceeds from this event will be used in a variety of ways, such as providing meals to the students during summer band camp, purchasing tickets for students to attend a Drum Corp International (DCI) performance, and providing scholarships to graduating seniors from the Pipestone Marching Band Program.

Join us for this FREE event for adults (18+) and explore ways substance use can be HIDDEN IN PLAIN SIGHT. You do NOT need to be a resident of Pipestone to attend- all adults are welcome! This program is designed to be informative for parents, grandparents, caregivers, and all community members who have a connection to youth.
