Equipment Fundraiser
The Pipestone Ambulance Association will be holding our 34th annual Chili Feed Fundraiser on Saturday, March 2nd, 2024. The 2024 Chili Feed will be held in DRIVE-THRU form at the Pipestone County Emergency Services Building located at 811 5th St SE in Pipestone, MN. Please look for signs & line up facing South on 9th Ave SE.
The drive-thru supper will be held from 4:00 PM – 7:00 PM. Our menu will feature our great award-winning chili (mild or hot), amazing chicken noodle soup, grilled ham & cheese sandwiches, & dessert. Quarts of Chili & Soup will also be available to purchase for $5 each (preorders appreciated).
Delivery within Pipestone City limits WILL be available from 4-5pm, but we ask that you call us at 507-825-1170 before 5pm on March 1st to place a delivery order.
Our main project for 2024 is purchasing new hi-vis, reflective, heavy-duty EMS coats to replace our old, dark navy coats. The new coats are ANSI compliant, eliminating the need to add hi-vis safety vests over the coats. In addition, we are planning to replace several of our training manikins (airway, infant, OB, CPR, etc.) & equipment that is beyond repair. This training equipment is utilized at our monthly association meetings, drills, & additional skills & training session by our 34-member volunteer squad. Training is imperative to keep our EMS personnel competent to continue responding to over 1,000 caller per year. We also use them when training the public, businesses, & other organizations.
Our local United Way of Pipestone County continuously supports us and has kindly allocated $1,300 towards our 2023 project goal.
We are requesting a donation of $10/ticket and hope that you will swing through for some GREAT food! Even if you cannot attend please consider sending a donation to help us raise the needed funds. A free-will donation would be appreciated for children and additional meals. The Pipestone Ambulance Association is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization & your donation may be tax-deductible.
If you received a donation envelope in the mail, please return your donation and the completed name stubs in the enclosed envelope before March 1st, 2024. Your kind donation will enter you in a drawing for first aid kit door prizes. You need not be present to win, however, please bring your tickets for admittance to the drive-thru feed.
