Pipestone County Fair
Our old-fashioned county fair is annually a top event in the county. Bring your kids to the children's barn to see and pet baby animals! Bring your appetite for unique food offerings each night! 4-H, FFA, and open class exhibitors share livestock, exhibits, and art with the public. There will be a midway featuring rides and games, displays and booths, as well as food and fun!

Teen Cafe
Our next Teen Cafe is Saturday, August 10, from 7:00-8:30pm. Teens can hang out at Meinders Community Library after hours. We'll have laser tag, snacks, & more! This event is for teens grades 7-12 and the doors to the library will open at 6:50pm. the library will open at 6:50pm
POSTPONED TO THURS: Kids Fishing Derby & Community Dinner
***POSTPONED TO THURSDAY, AUGUST 15, 2024 (due to poor weather)***The entire community is invited to the 7th Annual Kids Fishing Derby & Community Meal on Wednesday, August 14th at beautiful Hiawatha Pageant Park (rain date: Thurs, 8/15 - same times). All ages are welcome to the JBS Community Burger Feed (while they last!). Kids ages 15 and under can dip their lines in the ol' quarry pond while competing for trophies and prizes given for first fish caught and more. Fishers are welcome to use their own worms, but we will be providing worms.

Prairie Riders Saddle Club Horse Fun Show
The Prairie Riders Saddle Club horse game show is Sunday, August 18, 2024 at the Pipestone County Fairgrounds. Starting at 10:00 am. Registration opens at 9:00 am. Prizes will be awarded for this show. Free to come watch. Come cheer on the riders and their horses!
Pipestone Wagon Train
The wagon train will be leaving from a farm North and West of Pipestone, MN. We will be traveling 2.5 days by wagon and on horseback. Arriving in Prairie Village (West of Madison, SD) on Friday 8/23 just in time for our yearly parade through the village.
Pipestone National Monument's Founders' Day
Quarry Demo, Artists, Carvers, Traditional Flute, Foodways, Round Dance, Atlatl Making & Target Practice. Free to the public!
