Chamber Groundbreaking for Schroeder Center
The Pipestone Area Chamber of Commerce invites everyone to join us as we officially break ground for The Schroeder Center. The ceremony will begin at 10:00 am on Tuesday, May 2nd at its future site on the corner of 2nd Ave NW and 2nd St NW (to the west of the old Bomgaars building). The Schroeder Center will house the Pipestone County Food Shelf, Pipestone Senior Center, and LSS Meals on Wheels. This multi-use facility is a capital campaign project of the Pipestone Area Community Foundation (an affiliate of Southwest Initiative Foundation) with tremendous community support from our City, businesses, & individual donors! Everyone is welcome and encouraged to attend the celebration of this upcoming community asset!

Chamber Ribbon Cutting, Ambassador Visit, & Open House
Please join us at 2:15 pm for our Chamber Ribbon Cutting Ceremony for the newly purchased & renovated Wellness Square. Meet us outside the building under the Wellness Square sign to hear from property owners Theresa and Rich Stangle about the significant renovations & remarkable transformation that has taken place since taking ownership on January 11, 2023. Plus, learn about their current plans and vision for this beautiful new space in our Historic Downtown! Please attend to thank this couple for their investment of financial resources and countless hours of sweat equity over the last 120 days in making this an amazing community asset for all of our community's wellness needs. After the Chamber Ribbon Cutting concludes, step inside to join the Grand Opening Celebration from 2:30 pm through 6:30 pm hosted by Wellness Square and all of their wellness-based businesses. Enjoy refreshments, tours of the building, meeting the business owners & class instructors, signing up for upcoming classes, and more!
