Building Welcoming Workplaces: SW MN Workforce Cohort
The SW MN Workforce Cohorts are designed to help employers in Southwest Minnesota to attract and retain a diverse workforce needed now and in the future. Cohort peers will be focused on developing and sharing best practices for employee retention and overall growth of SW MN. Sessions will be led by Whitney Harvey, Sr. Director of Workforce Diversity and Inclusion, Minnesota Chamber of Commerce Foundation and will include additional guest speakers at each session. Community Readiness for Cannabis Legalization with Dr. Ken Winters
Pipestone Area Coalition will be bringing cannabis researcher, Ken Winters, to Pipestone to give a presentation to our community's adults (18+) about the new cannabis laws. The event is free and will be held at the Hiawatha Lodge on Monday, March 3, starting at 6:30 pm. Certificates of Attendance will be provided for educators and law enforcement.
