HPI Used Book Sale
Historic Pipestone Inc. (HPI) holds their monthly used book sale fundraiser on the first Saturday of each month from 9:00 am - approximately Noon. The sale features books in both hardcover and paperback, ranging over a variety of subjects in both fiction and nonfiction. All such books are donated by members of the community.

Our old-fashioned county fair is annually a top event in the county. Bring your kids to the children's barn to see and pet baby animals! Bring your appetite for unique food offerings each night! 4-H, FFA, and open class exhibitors share livestock, exhibits, and art with the public. There will be a midway featuring rides and games, displays and booths, as well as food and fun!

Chamber Car Cruise-In
Thursday, August 7, 2025, 5:00 - 7:30 PM (Location - Hatfield Roadhouse): Chamber Car Cruise-In Join the Pipestone Area Chamber of Commerce and the Pipestone Cruizers for Live Music (''Southern Detour'') for the second Chamber Car Cruise-In of Summer! Enjoy music and relaxation as you stroll amongst classic cars! Pipestone's Chamber Car Cruise-Ins feature show cars and hobby vehicles from local and regional enthusiasts. The events are FREE for everyone! . Food will be available for purchase at Hatfield Roadhouse. Prize drawings are held throughout the events for all registered vehicles! Bring your car, truck, or motorcycle to this FREE event.
Kids Fishing Derby & Community Dinner
The entire community is invited to the 8th Annual Kids Fishing Derby & Community Meal on Wednesday, August 13th at beautiful Hiawatha Pageant Park (rain date: Thurs, 8/16 - same times). All ages are welcome to the Community Burger/Hot Dog Feed (while they last!) and Water Slides. Kids ages 15 and under can dip their lines in the ol' quarry pond while competing for trophies and prizes given for first fish caught and more. Fishers are welcome to use their own worms, but we will be providing worms.
Twins Trip
Minnesota Twins Trip to Target Field! (Athletics vs. Twins). 5th & 6th Graders (2024/2025 school year) - Registration Limited. Register in person at the front desk of the Ewert Rec Center during Park & Rec Office Hours Only, Monday - Friday 5:30 am - 5:00 pm. Registrations will not be accepted without appropriate fee and parents' signature.
PCMC Blood Drive
