5K Fun Run/Walk for Parkinson's Awareness
The Rock Steady Boxing 5K Fun Run & Walk is more than a race, it's a chance to fight back against Parkinson's. Join a community moving with purpose, supporting strength, resilience, and hope. Whether you run or walk, every step helps empower individuals to keep pushing forward. Lace up and be part of something meaningful. All proceeds support equipment, education, and access, helping individuals stay strong, keep moving, and continue the fight.

The Pipestone A's are a member of the Gopher League. Join us at A's Field in Westview Park on 2nd Street NW, North of Paulsen Field on West MN Hwy 30. We have a concession stand where we will have hamburgers, brats, hot dogs, as well as ice cold Pepsi products or ice cold beer for those of age. Enjoy the seating behind home plate that came straight from Camden Yards, home of the Baltimore Orioles. We will have some new faces this year as well, so hopefully we see ya out at the ballpark.

The 6th Annual Pipestone Pride Picnic is happening this June 7th at a new location this year: the Hiawatha Lodge!! It will be a pot-luck, so bring your favorite meal or snack to share! There will be entertainment: Nautical Moth and Erika Pelach will be playing after everyone has had a chance to speak if they wish during Open Mic time. Come on down and share in the celebration - families, allies, and all. There will be family activities such as cards, Monopoly, coloring pages, and more! Love and Understanding will keep us all together!

With equal measures of pluck and positivity, little orphan Annie charms everyone's hearts despite a next-to-nothing start in 1930s New York City. Annie is determined to find the parents who abandoned her years ago on the doorstep of an orphanage run by the cruel Miss Hannigan. Annie eventually foils Miss Hannigan's evil machinations, finding a new home and family in billionaire, Oliver Warbucks, his personal secretary, Grace Farrell, and a lovable mutt named Sandy. We will have popcorn concessions available for sale for you to enjoy during the performance! Show dates are Saturday, July 18th at 7:00 p.m. and Sunday, July 19th at 2:00 p.m.

Join us for an author with environmental and outdoor writer, Joe Friedrichs. His book ''Last Entry Point: Stories of Danger and Death in the Boundary Waters'' focuses on ind-depth storytelling from the canoe-country wilderness. In 2024, Friedrichs founded Paddle and Portage, a digital media company focused on the Boundary Waters. *Pipestone Area Friends of the Library's (PAFL) annual meeting will precede the presentation at 5:30 pm.
