On Wednesday, August 10th, from 10 am to 4 pm at VIM (Volunteers in Mercy) Thrift Store (located at 122 Main Street) is Pipestone County School Backpack Distribution Day for families in need who live in our county. While supplies last! All churches, businesses, & community members in Pipestone county have the opportunity to donate $$ or school supplies! Working in cooperation together with Volunteers in Mercy, Salvation Army, Pipestone County United Way, and Pipestone County Churches. The District #3 One-Room Schoolhouse at Moore Park will be open to the public on Thursdays through the summer (June 9 through September 1) from 12:30 pm to 3 pm. Activities will start outdoors at 12:30 pm with schoolyard games. At 1:00 pm, retired school teacher Diane Hansen will greet students inside with educational activities. Volunteers will be present to share information about the oldest country school in the county!

(Kansas City Royals vs. Minnesota Twins) 5th & 6th Graders (2021/2022 school year) - Registration Limited Register in person at the front desk of the Ewert Rec Center during Park & Rec Office Hours Only, Monday - Friday 5:30 am - 5:00 pm. Registrations will not be accepted without appropriate fee and parents' signature.
The Pipestone County Historical Society?s Coffee Talks are held the third Thursday of each month. These talks are FREE to the public. The community is invited to the Pipestone County Museum at 9:45 a.m. on the third Thursday of each month for coffee followed by a presentation beginning at 10:00 a.m.
