Come celebrate the 47th show season with the Al Opland Singers as we present our 2026 Spring show for one weekend only! The Pipestone Performing Arts Center is located at 104 Main Street East (Pipestone). Guests can park in the free lots surrounding the theatre, in the First Farmers & Merchants Bank parking lot or the City Parking lot behind the Pizza Ranch. Annual Hospice Benefit
Save the Date! Enjoy an evening of great food and fellowship for a great cause! The benefit is at the Pipestone Country Club on Saturday, March 28, 2026. There will be a social hour, online silent auction, live auction, and 4 course meal. Tickets will be available at the PCMC Gift Shop, Hospice House, or the PCMC Business Office. Join us for an author meet and greet with Minnesota author Teresa Peterson. Her book Perennial Ceremony: Lessons and Gifts from a Dakota Garden shares prose, poetry, and recipes guiding us through the Dakota seasons to impart lessons from her life as a gardener, gatherer, and lover of the land.
Ferris Grand Block Fundraiser
On the evening of Saturday, February 21, 2026, the Pipestone County Historical Society will be hosting a fundraiser in the Masonic Lodge, located on the second floor of the historic Ferris Grand Block. This limited seating event will include a four-course steak dinner, dynamic presentations of local history stories, brand new games, a live auction, and a raffle drawing. An update will be given on the Ferris Grand rehabilitation, and all funds raised will aid int eh historic preservation of this majestic building. This year, the theme of the event is ''Murder & Mayhem in Pipestone County,'' and several local stories from history will be shared, not only tales of murder, but also larceny, bigamy, arson, prostitution, and other general mayhem. Tickets are limited to this event due to space restrictions. Call ahead for more information and to make reservations!
Free Movie Night at Christ the King Free Lutheran Church
Christ the King Free Lutheran Church is offering a Free Movie Night on Saturday, February 21st beginning at 6:00 PM. ''Average Joe'' is the true story about a football coach who prayed on the 50-yard line after each game to give thanks. As fans and students voluntarily joined him and the media started following the story, coach Joe Kennedy was placed on administrative leave by his high school employer. Defending his right to express his faith went all the way to the Supreme Court while enduring many trials and tribulations. While securing his First Amendment rights in June of 2022, this is an inspiring story of courage, redemption and grace. ? All are welcome to come and freely enjoy this inspiring movie along with complimentary pop and popcorn with comfortable seating, an extra-large screen and clear sound. Christ the King Free Lutheran is located at 804 8th Ave NE in Pipestone.
